Today in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, under the admiralty jurisdiction, admiralty suit no. 41 of 2024 has been filed by Meghna Sugar Refinery Limited against (i) M.V. ARAGONA, IMO No. 9729556, (ii) M/S United Shipping Lines of Akteruzzaman Center, (iii)North Standard Limited as principal defendants.

The suit concerns a claim for damages and compensation for the vessel M.V. ARAGONA.

The suit is valued at US $1,59,547,84 only, equivalent to BDT 1,91,45,740.80 only.

The suit is for recovery of unpaid bunker relating to The Dredger TING MING.

The suit is valued at BDT 89,693,692.49 only.
