XU YAO, Son of Xu Jiaheng and Chang Xia, VS M.V. TRAWIND VISION and others. Admiralty Suit No. 35 of 2025 for recovery of damages and compensation.

Today, in the High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, under the admiralty jurisdiction, admiralty suit no. 35 of 2025 has been filed by XU YAO, Son of Xu Jiaheng and Chang Xia, against (i) M.V. Trawind Vision, IMO-938520, Flag-Panama, now lying at Chittagong Port, (ii) The Master of the vessel, (iii) Dragon Smart Logistics Ltd, (iv) Zhongshan Qu, Dalian, Liaoning, (v) Dalian Trawind International Ship Management Co. Ltd, (vi) Crown Maritime and Shipping Services of Bay Esplanade.

The suit has been filed for recovery of damages and compensation arising out of damage done by the ship.

It is valued at RMB 572,300.56, which is equivalent to BDT 97,29,109.52 (at an exchange rate of RMB 1.00 = BDT 17.00) 

The Hon’ble High Court Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh has passed an order to arrest the vessel M.V. Majesty.
